Andres Bonifacio Loves Tinapa

Andrés Bonifacio y de Castro was born In Manila on November 30 1863, He was a Filipino nationalist and  revolutionary . He also known to the filipino as the father of Katipunan because of his essential role in founding the Katipunan Movement . most people especially the Filipino known Andres Bonifacio through his Biography and History that presented in the Lectures for the philippines HIstory . But not all of the people know what are Andres Bonifacio Favorite Food, Do you what was his favorite food way back? I am pretty sure the answer is no. so as a young Filipino whom proud of our National Heroes we come up with this post,this post is a tribute post to Andres Bonifacio passion for Food, one of his favorite food was Tinapa.

So, for My fellow readers some of you might know what is Tinapa, but let me brief quickly what is Tinapa in case you haven't heard of it, Tinapa is a Filipino term for Fish cooked or Preserved through the process of smoking( it also known as Dried fish) , it's a quite similar to the One that Malaysia has which called IKan Kering ( in Melayu means Dried fish) There are certain ways of producing Tinapa ,the simple one is http://www.marketmanila.com/archives/tinapa-daing-smoked-dried-fish

Now a days , People can find Tinapa in every Supermarket  in the philippines you don't have to waste your time preserving the Fish but you can just buy it completly in a package , for example in Rustan's they Sell Tinapa in a very cute Glass bottle which can cost you around 100 pesos or more :). so If you want to remember Andres Bonifacio , how about put some  few Tinapa into your weekly menu , ??  oh by the way there is also some tutorial video  of  how to make Tinapa that you can Try during this christmas break , check this out------->
